Our Mission
PersuasionPoint Mediation Services has one goal: resolution of your dispute. Parties in litigation need the practical perspective of someone who is not knee-deep in the morass of the lawsuit, and more importantly, someone who can explain the realities of litigation to the participants. PersuasionPoint starts working on your dispute from the moment the company is selected, getting familiar with the facts of the dispute and analyzing the applicable law to ensure the discussion starts from the moment you arrive. A successful mediation also oftentimes requires “thinking outside the box” because successful resolution is not only about money; it’s also about restoring dignity and addressing emotions that are intertwined in any legal dispute.

1. Personal Injury Disputes
Accidents happen. Whether you are driving down the street or walking through your favorite store, individuals are injured, oftentimes through no fault of their own. Our legal system provides just compensation, but determining what that compensation is generally results in a lawsuit. You can have your day in court, but trials are fraught with uncertainty and anxiety. Mediation provides you with the opportunity to be heard, to explain yourself, and to seek resolution. I use my 30-plus years of litigation experience to guide the parties toward a settlement that everyone can accept, to bring finality to the litigation.
2. Consumer Warranty Actions
Owning a motor vehicle is a necessity, especially in Southern California. While automobiles have become sophisticated machines, with plenty of comfort and conveniences, sometimes the consumer is disappointed due to problems experienced with the vehicle and has become frustrated with the manufacturer’s attempts to repair it. The Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act provides the consumer with a “vehicle”—pun intended—to seek remedy. Throughout my career, I have represented many manufacturers in these lawsuits, and have the ability to hone in on the issues presented, and how best to get consumer and manufacturer to a satisfactory resolution so the consumer get back on the road.
3. Employment Disputes
No one wants drama in the workplace. Employers are required to provide their employees with a safe and healthy work environment, free of harassment and discrimination. Sometimes an employee may feel that he or she has been wronged, either by the employer or a co-worker. Rarely does anyone win in prolonged litigation over these issues. The most effective form of resolution is to meet with the individuals involved, as early as possible, to allow everyone to explain their position, and clear the air. Allow me to intervene and work with everyone so that the issue is satisfactorily resolved.
4. Homeowner and Neighbor Disputes
Many people reside in communities that are governed by associations, whether they live in a housing development, condominium or mobile home park. Sometimes the rules are not followed, or we don’t see eye to eye with our neighbor over the bougainvilleas coming over the fence. Any litigation is challenging, but when it’s with the person you share a driveway or common wall with, the angst can be extreme.
